Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel brings her story to Nashville
Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel and Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum are set to open in Nashville on September 29. The 245-room hotel will feature two live music venues, including Jolene’s rooftop lounge and Parton’s Live for writers’ rounds and showcase events. The 20,000-square-foot museum will tell Parton’s story through personal artifacts and interactive displays featuring recordings by the singer. The property is being developed with Herschend, Dolly’s longtime partner behind Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort. Read more
Remington adds Hyatt Regency Long Island
Remington Hospitality has added the 358-room Hyatt Regency Long Island to its third-party managed portfolio. The full-service hotel offers indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center with tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, and around 18,000 square feet of meeting space. The property also includes several dining options and facilities aimed at business and leisure travelers. Valor Hospitality expands to San Diego
Valor Hospitality has expanded its US operations to the West Coast with the addition of The Monsaraz, San Diego, to its portfolio. The hotel is located in Point Loma and adds a Southern California property to Valor’s growing US business. The move follows the company’s recent expansion in other US markets, including its acquisition of management contracts for eight Mississippi hotels. Canopy Deer Valley has opened its doors in Park City, marking the Canopy by Hilton brand’s first hotel in Utah. The 180-room property is located at the base of Deer Valley Resort and provides access to the Jordanelle Express Gondola. Four food and beverage concepts serve both hotel guests and the local community.
