Imperial London Hotels Completes PMS Migration

Imperial London Hotels has completed a phased migration of all seven properties to Stayntouch's cloud-based property management system. The rollout included the 1,379-room Royal National Hotel, described as the largest hotel in Western Europe. The migration also added digital registration cards, allowing guests to complete pre-arrival details and sign registration forms electronically. Stayntouch and Imperial also worked on integrations covering single sign-on, invoicing, purchase orders, and financial reporting. Chicago Hotel Workers Authorize Strike

More than 7,000 hotel workers in Chicago have authorized a strike involving 46 hotels downtown and near McCormick Place. Workers are seeking higher wages, improved benefits, safer workloads, secure pensions, and protections for immigrant employees. The affected properties include hotels operated by major brands such as Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott. Hotel operators say they have contingency plans in place and that properties remain open. @HOME by Best Western Expands in the Southeast

BWH Hotels has opened the 128-suite @HOME by Best Western McDonough Atlanta South in McDonough, Georgia. The five-story extended-stay property is aimed at business and leisure travelers, including project workers, employees relocating, and people attending corporate training. Suites include kitchens and workspaces, while the hotel also offers laundry, storage, EV charging, and parking for large vehicles. The opening marks the second @HOME property in the US, with another Atlanta-area hotel planned for 2027. Budapest Adds Major International Hotel Brands

Budapest is adding several international hotel brands as investment in the city's hotel sector continues. St. Regis, Moxy, and Radisson Individuals all made their Hungarian debuts in 2026, adding luxury, lifestyle, and upscale accommodation options. The expansion will continue in 2027 with the opening of the first PURO hotel outside Poland, featuring 212 rooms and several food, wellness, and social spaces.
