Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) reported $1.04 billion in revenue for the third quarter of 2026, a 27% increase year over year. Room revenue rose 28% to $843 million, supported by a 33% increase in room nights and longer stays. The alliance's loyalty program also recorded stronger engagement, with reward redemptions increasing 58% and cross-brand revenue climbing 53% to $168 million. Kerzner International is bringing its SIRO fitness and wellness hotel brand to the United States with SIRO Brickell in Miami. Planned for a 2030 opening, the development will include up to 180 hotel rooms and suites, a dedicated Fitness and Recovery Lab, and as many as 350 branded residences. The project is being developed with Miami-based 13th Floor Investments and Forse Holdings. SIRO combines hospitality with fitness, recovery, nutrition, and mindfulness, positioning the property to serve both hotel guests and residents seeking health-focused amenities. DiamondRock Hospitality Company has acquired The Bellmoor Inn & Spa, a 79-room luxury resort in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, for $31 million. The purchase price works out to approximately $392,000 per room. DiamondRock sees potential to improve the property's performance through operational changes and planned renovations during the off-season. The company projects a stabilized net operating income yield of about 9.5% after these improvements, compared with an existing capitalization rate of 8.6%. Netherlands-based Corendon Hotels & Resorts has acquired two hotels on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, marking the group's first entry into the U.S. market. The properties have been rebranded as Corendon South Beach Miami and Corendon Beach Plaza – South Beach Miami. The hotels are close to Ocean Drive and the beach, placing them in a prominent South Beach location. Corendon is also establishing a domestic hotel management company to operate the properties itself and support future U.S. expansion. Vesta Hospitality has secured new financing for the 150-room AC Hotel Vancouver Waterfront in Vancouver, Washington, with JLL arranging the refinancing. The seven-story Marriott-branded hotel opened in 2022 as the first completed project in the Port of Vancouver USA's Terminal 1 waterfront redevelopment. The financing is structured as a three-year loan with two one-year extension options. Hotel amenities include more than 11,700 square feet of meeting space, a fitness center, spa and wellness facilities, and the Ondus restaurant, which opened in 2025. The refinancing supports Vesta's long-term ownership strategy as the surrounding waterfront district continues to attract investment in hospitality, residential, office, and retail development.
